Machining
The Engineering Machine Shop is equipped with lathes, milling machines, vertical and horizontal boring machines
and comprehensive tooling to support the Machine Tools.
We also have a wide variety of 'in situ' machine tools for the occasions when the job is simply too large to
bring to a workshop.
Machining Capacity
- Turning - Eight lathes with dimensions 300mm x 1000mm to 1000mm x 5000mm.
- Milling - Three mills with dimensions: 500mm x 900mm to 1000mm x 1000mm x 2500mm.
- Vertical Boring - Maximum 2150mm diameter x 1500mm height.
- Horizontal Boring - Maximum 2000mm x 2000mm.
- Drilling - Radial Arm Drills - 2000mm Arm.
- Additional Machines - for Slotting, Broaching and Honing.
All equipment is fully calibrated.
